‘Speedmouse’ by The Umbilical Brothers is a high-energy comedy show marked by originality, surprises, and relentless action. The duo’s improvisational talents are so sharp they seem almost to read each other’s minds. Every scene pulses with excitement, as they contort their bodies, shift facial expressions, and fill the stage with a range of voices. Famous for their sound effects, they seamlessly take the audience from a game of table tennis to dodging imaginary lightsabers, all created through their remarkable vocal artistry.

The humour is wonderfully goofy and unapologetically slapstick. It’s a wild playground for weird jokes, where the Brothers play with absurdity, mixing sharp banter and bizarre antics that keep you intrigued.  They don’t just grab your attention with their impressions, they hijack it outright, morphing into chaotic voices and wild, unpredictable characters with the swagger of absolute showbiz outlaws, which they are!

Strap yourself in, cos if the 25th anniversary of Speedmouse was any more unpredictable, you would need a seatbelt just to watch it!  The Umbilical Brothers are true masters of comic mayhem, still drawing crowds with their dazzling, high-energy antics.  Honestly, can you imagine them rocking up at a backyard BBQ? Tongs become lightsabers, sausages take flight, and their quick-fire banter would have everyone in stitches. It would be an afternoon of absolute chaos, in the best possible way.

It’s physical comedy genius, bold, bonkers, and absolutely unmissable.
