At a certain point in life, music ceases to be mere entertainment and begins to function as a time machine. Not the polite sort that invites reflection from a distance, but the volatile kind that hurls you back into earlier versions of yourself with startling clarity. That sensation arrived almost immediately at History of House: Greatest Hits, a rapturous collision between DJ and local South Australian, Groove Terminator and the globally revered Soweto Gospel Choir at the Adelaide Fringe, where this 2026 season also marks the production’s final season.
