Exceptional theatre in the raw. Alex is an extraordinary talent. I'm still processing the experience. I went from 'laughing my tits off' to 'balling my eyes out'! I visit from Sydney every year and see 16 shows in 4 days. I almost stayed an extra day - just to see this outstanding production again. I really hope it transfers to Sydney. Congratulations!

One of the instances had tears running down my face it was so beautiful. Their ability to illicit emotional response with nothing but emotional response and invisible objects is unparalleled

I didn't know what to think

The performer engages your interest from the moment they pull a hag stone from their chest and ask ‘do you know what this is?’ What ensues is a fascinating story about family dynamics and what it means to set your own course - on the open sea and on land!

This started out normal. A musical comedy about the Pokémon Charizard, and the host's lifelong quest to find a rare holographic version of its card. But then he opened a single, sealed pack of cards and started going through the contents... and found a holographic Charizard. The show completely went off the rails from there, and the remainder of the show was watching him have a break down on stage which ended with everyone sing-screaming CHARIZARD. I was glad to have witnessed it.

Have you met my grief? offers so much to the audience, with an invitation to ponder our own grief and loss at the same time as being immersed in the complexities of that rollercoaster of the highs and lows of the lives we are fortunate enough to live. Thought provoking and funny at the same time

I have seen some comedy gems at the Adelaide Fringe while attending shows like this but unfortunately this year it wasn't to be. The acts with 'audience participation' gave the audience a few laughs, only because the participant was funnier than the act. Sorry, but this show was a fizzer. Maybe next year....

Most expensive show I’ve ever been to and totally not worth the price tag. “Magic tricks” are very basic and we left the show feeling scammed. All about the upsell of drinks and purchasing Magic tricks! Best trick was they stole my money without me noticing!!

Been wanting to get to this show during the past few festivals and finally did. It was a marvellous experience, very touching with beautiful songs

A beautiful, heartbreaking story lovingly told. Tearful and triumphant. Loved it!
