What an absolute gem! It is a rare gift to find actors who can perform Shakespeare naturally, and these three have it. What an exceptional performance! The Understudies is written and performed by a trio from Newcastle, and tells the story of two friends whose skills and patience are put to the test when the rest of the cast comes down sick and they need to singlehandedly save the show. It is full of heart, absolutely hilarious, and performed with perfect comic timing. What a masterpiece!

These 2 wonderful performers beautifully embody the art of clowning and physical comedy. Absolutely sweet and genuine fun. A family friendly show. We were very lucky to get front row seats. I wish they would be invited into every school in Australia to share their simple mischievous fun.

A beautiful portrayal of the challenges and triumphs of mothers

Festivals are full of variety acts but Serviced hits different, right in the feels and funny bones. I grew up going to performances exploring male masculinity through dance. Serviced reminded me of my younger self being in awe of men and the playfulness, strength and vulnerability they bring when they perform. Shouting on the internet in echo chambers wont cure toxic masculinity, but artists can change hearts, and this show has mine.

Absolutely fantastic. Great for kids and adults. Would happily see them again. Definitely recommend Nimble.
