Truly smart theatre, the sort of uniting work that could reshape the Australian consciousness to one that chooses theatre first. Connor is sensational.

Devastatingly beautiful.

Disappointed, started off great then it was a mess and hardly Daft Punk. More like a disco for the young ones true daft punk fan but I got to dance 💃 do better 🙏

The Understudy felt polished and professional, more Festival Theatre than Fringe. Eva moved through the story with care and authenticity. It was funny, sad, and powerful. Beautifully written and definitely worth seeing. Despite the venue change, the space was comfortable and well suited (thank you Air-con!). Clearer directions and parking info would be helpful though

This show is beautiful, hilarious, and HOT TO GO! A fantastic journey into the absurdity of family and gender, and I personally think Yoz NAILED her grandpa’s voice 🫰 🫰 🫰

What a stellar performance from Connor Delves, and a truly engrossing and moving human story that resonates even for people not into cycling! Stunning technical presentation as well. A must-see, and surely up for some more awards!

Must see in the new venue and additions, even if you've seen it before go again!

I think I started crying about two minutes in and I didn't stop. This was such a beautifully crafted script, I can see it being used and performed by generations to come. But to see it performed by the creators and experiencers of this story was a masterful, brave, raw piece of art that I will never forget. One of my new favourite Fringe memories of all time. Thank you for the gift you have given to the world with what you have created. x

A well crafted slick piece of theatre. Stunning script. Performed expertly, The physicality of the performance was amazing as the actor somehow creates all these different characters right in front of your eyes. Bravo. x

What a wonderful show, Connor tells the story of when he first met his Dad using story telling and song. He is very talented and at times I had a tear in my eye. Well wroth seeing some lovely story telling and lovely music

All you could have hoped for and more in a Chicken based hoe down!
