What a roller coaster of a tale executed amazingly by a talented young artist. It is raw, gritty and heartfelt, proof that if you a dealt a crappy hand from the start there is only one way to go, up! With a few hiccups along the way. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely outstanding!

A real from the soul story about life for people who grow up with drug abuse in the home. Troy speaks on his own experiences and really displays how intergenerational trauma carries through generations, and the role community and family has to play in recovery. It was heartfelt and honest, sadness and happiness together with a grateful nature towards his growth. It's a journey, unpolished but genuine.

I laughed and I cried, a very moving and beautiful show. Troy is a truly inspiring individual. A story of hope

This was a deep and moving work. Troy brought together his personal experiences across a timeline and brought the audience with him giving us an experience more than a show. Heart wrenching at times, Troy still managed to weave in humour and hope. I will go again. Highly recommend.

Raw, heartfelt and emotional. Through gripping storytelling and song, we are invited to share in one man’s true story of starting life in a straight jacket and fighting adversity throughout childhood and youth to break free and lead a good life. It was a privilege to be invited to share his story.
