A high energy journey through several eras of local queer culture that culminate in a performance that is clever and contains one of the best uses of parody for labels I've seen. Enjoyable for locals and anyone who frequent(s/ed) local queer venues.

This was a great show last year and it got better this year. Zak is so confident on stage that he makes it an enjoyable experience for the audience.

This is genuinely one of the funniest stand up comedy shows I’ve seen in YEARS - there’s never a moment where it lags and everyone (including my wife who is very hard to crack) had tears of laughter the whole time. This show was 50 minutes of genuine joy and I can’t recommend this show highly enough

Zak Vasiliou is a storyteller. An extremely funny storyteller. A vibrant, energetic storyteller who has crafted an excellent narrative about being a gay man and how, as a theatrical child, only he and his parents were unaware that he was gay. Incorporating an album of character-filled childhood photos and a couple of videos that most people would fear being seen in public, Zak turns self-deprecating humour into pure joy and laughter. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Zak is utterly charismatic, quick-witted, and so very, very funny. His material is fantastic - tightly written and expertly executed. This is a hilarious, heart-warming, and unexpectedly life-affirming hour of comedy. The home videos from his childhood are an absolute highlight, as is his show-stopping finale (but no spoilers here x). A must see. 🩷
