This show had it all - it was a story of highs and lows, and everything in between, told with humour and warmth. It was worth strapping yourself in for the bumpy road that led to peace, forgiveness and love. More than just an emotional roller coaster - this show is a true gem 💎

Loved this show. Alan is raw honest and hilarious. It shifted from tender to crack up and back again. It was great to see- and hear- the sound of this man cracking.

Alan Lovell is a story-teller par excellence. While the catalyst, climax and conclusion feature his parent's ashes, the weft and warp of the show is made from his life's ups and downs...and up again. Includes a very good impression of a silverback gorilla he met while on the set of 'gorillas in the mist'. Must see @ Komodo Cafe.

Big Al is a consummate storyteller. This show is funny, heart warming and whip smart. I was laughing, had my heart in my mouth, and nodding along to wise insights. Fabulous writing and delivery. Def put this show on your list. ❤️
