I went to this show as a WW2 history buff who rarely considers LGBT+ issues & was sceptical of the musical format. I really enjoyed the show. It covered a rarely discussed part of WW2 history: the persecution of gay men in concentration camps and the post-war denial that they were victims of the Nazi's due to anti-homosexual laws (so they were one of few groups to be denied compensation). The show was raw, insightful, largely accurate, and non-preachy. Strongly recommended for history buffs.

Powerful premise and committed performance: a 1957 Germany trial made personal, with clear stakes and real anger. The Disney-bright musical numbers can be brilliant satire, making the cruelty feel sharper. But the tonal whiplash sometimes blunts emotion, and a few songs feel more cute than necessary.

Excellent one person show about a thought-provoking topic that I had not previously considered. Highly recommend.

An historical sory of discrimination & cruelty, so deftly, beautifully & seamlessly delivered. A highly professional production that affects all the emotions. A wonderful storyteller with a great singing voice. A must see.

This show is a must see. Raw, intimate, honest. It brought me to tears and was so skillfully portrayed!
