I’ve now seen this show several times - I’m still finding wonder in every performance - I laugh, I cry - the depth brought to each character by the cast, the light and shade of the narrative enhanced by Jo Casson’s direction and choreography - but most of all the utter genius of the writing; the juxtaposition of ‘flavours’ of our shared experiences of womanhood. Oh Amity Dry, it’s SO “worth it” - you are AMAZING! Congratulations 👏👏👏 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This incredible show is one of the best pieces of work I have experienced in a long time. From crying to laughing to simply just existing in a world where 4 friends connect and bond.

A brilliant musical theatre show, that is authentic, heartfelt and captures the reality of a perfect life, with a fabulous cast and live band.

If you only see one show this Fringe season make it “The Perfect Life”! I was captivated from the first line. Such an honest, funny and clever script filled with poignant and relatable moments. So well cast, sung and simply but artfully staged. One hundred times better than a chick flick, grab some girlfriends (or some males) and head along, you won’t be sorry. This is a show that stays with you for days and you are happy to see again and again!

Absolutely brilliant show! I felt every emotion throughout the performance. Powerhouse vocals from each performer and the harmonies are incredible. Backed by a wonderful band this musical lingers with you long after the curtain comes down. Written and produced by a fellow South Australian is the icing on the cake. Men and women alike can relate to this show I highly recommend it.

This is an excellent show - all four performers are strong and excellent. Full of humour and pathos. Very relatable for anyone who has been in a relationship and had kids. A must see!
