Emotional roller-coaster
03 March 2026 - Tequila L.
A good cop and comedian can think on their feet and work with people. This show did neither. It was essentially a one-woman monologue that felt overly rehearsed and flat, with very little ability to engage with the audience. When a line needed prompting, it unfortunately reinforced that impression.
The humour felt dated and didn’t accurately reflect policing or emergency services, which made it hard to connect with—particularly if you have lived experience in that space.
