One Must Imagine the Boiling Frog Happy
04 March 2026 - Shaylee L.Ben's writing is a constellation of stories of family, fantasy, the friction of this capitalist hellscape we live in, and the revolving door of trying to make decisions with the heaviness of the ethical considerations aligned with those decisions. He surprises and delights the audience with his humor, perspective & selection of frozen desserts. See you in 5 years dad! -
One Must Imagine the Boiling Frog Happy
03 March 2026 - Georgia B.This is probably one of the most unique shows you’ll ever see - in essence, a man sits in a hot tub and talks to you for an hour as if you are his child (complete with icy poles). It’s funny and thoughtful and absurd - one for those looking for something very Fringe. -
One Must Imagine the Boiling Frog Happy
03 March 2026 - Amanda J.So clever and makes think about your life in a variety of stories - loved it! So fun and insightful. -
One Must Imagine the Boiling Frog Happy
02 March 2026 - Lucy B.A magical show about the ways we navigate through the uncharted territory of life. Highly recommend -
One Must Imagine the Boiling Frog Happy
02 March 2026 - Poppy M.Ben has the unique, innate ability to hold his audience babies so utterly safely whilst traversing such wonderfully unfamiliar terrain. One of those shows that people will talk about having seen for years to come. We are lucky to have Ben in our community. -
One Must Imagine the Boiling Frog Happy
28 February 2026 - Hilary B.Incredible show - very funny, melancholic and hopeful in approximately equal measures. -
One Must Imagine the Boiling Frog Happy
27 February 2026 - Henry N.Ben has a great ability to draw you into his slightly strange, thoughtful, sometimes sweet and sometimes melancholy worlds as he tells story after story to his rapt audience. This is the kind of show that makes the Fringe so special. -
One Must Imagine the Boiling Frog Happy
26 February 2026 - Lauren B.A contemplative, wonderful show from a performer totally at ease with the intimacy of both the room and the material. Beautiful writing perfectly delivered with nuance, humour and humanity. Thank you for your stories, Ben! -
One Must Imagine the Boiling Frog Happy
26 February 2026 - Mark A.Life-affirming storytelling at its absolute finest - with some of the best winking I have ever seen. -
One Must Imagine the Boiling Frog Happy
24 February 2026 - Mary A.I SAW THIS SHOW AND IT FIXED ME. This guy is a king. This guy gets it. This guy takes such care in his work and holds his audience so tenderly, leading them through these strange and deeply therapeutic little worlds. I am never going to forget this show. I am framing the stick from my icy pole. I am obsessed, obsessed, obsessed. -
One Must Imagine the Boiling Frog Happy
24 February 2026 - Luke W.Sweet, funny, thought provoking... What else do you want from a Fringe show? Ben makes shows that are slightly weird, which is what this festival is all about. It's a show about purpose and meaning and wondering about stuff. You'll laugh, and you might even cry. And if you want to, you'll have an ice block -
One Must Imagine the Boiling Frog Happy
23 February 2026 - Shantel T.I love a thought provoking show that is fun, funny and full of tender moments too. The small space was packed for a Monday night which was wonderful to see. It won't be everyone's cup of tea, or should that be everyone's hot tub? which is probably why I liked it so much. Thank you for a wonderful show and for the ice blocks too.
