Volchok's storytelling is gripping, imaginative, funny, and genius in the way he weaves thematic threads into a complex, delicious, boiling frog soup. His perspective is fresh, and yet still so relatable. One of those rare shows that you leave feeling like you were collectively *part* of something beautiful. Truly brilliant theatre.

Easily the best hot-tub monologue show I've ever seen. Wonderfully fringe in its presentation, amusing, touching, thought-provoking, and all-round pleasing. Bonus points for icy treats and world-class dad jokes and wink-lobbing skills.

Was not a fever dream! I thought the short-story format was delightful, the eye-contact was very impressive, and the lighting and background music created an excellent atmosphere. It really worked at being funny and then emotional in all the best ways. I'm really glad I went to see it!
