Fabulous show of polished singing, dancing, and a great story of love and connection through the lens of Adele's music.

how do I review: Love is a Game: An Adele Song Cycle? Standing Ovation, 5 Stars, Mind Blowing. This group of 11 talented musicians have created a musical based on the songs of Adele. Choreography excellent, singing is next level. I would have been happy to see this quality of show anywhere. Its that good. I may have seen the highlight of my Fringe 2026 journey.

Oliver Johns arrangements are exquisite, making everyone on stage shine 🌟 Jay Scott’s choreography is incredible at transitioning between each song and storyline, driving the show forward. Adelaide talent, Adele’s discography and a live band. What more could you want out of a show?!

Great voices & performances, wow for Adele music

Taking the beloved classics and quiet gems of Adele's discography and threading them together to tell the stories of three characters and their intersecting love lives, this show is equally funny and moving in examining all stages and kinds of love. With heavenly vocal arrangements, slick choreography and deeply considered direction and dramaturgy, all delivered by some of the best young performers in Adelaide, this is truly one of the best things on offer at Fringe.

I can't urge you enough to see this show. The stories are equally heartwarming and heartbreaking. The arrangements and harmonies are simply exquisite. The choreography is exciting. Every moment, and detail, has been carefully considered, and ties together to create a narrative you can't look away from. Every single performer possesses talent that will make you wonder how you've paid less than $50 for a ticket. This is a get-in-before-they're-famous opportunity. You better take it.

The level of talent, brilliance and heart in this show is genuinely insane. One of the best little nuggets of live theatre I will ever see.

Powerhouse vocals, delicately and thoughtfully weaved through love is love stories. Heartfelt and funny moments. Amelia Beveridge delivered a powerful, strong and at the same time a relatable and intimate performance. Definitely worth the trip out to Holden Street Theatres Hindmarsh, a cool from fringe vibe.

This show combines a great story, phenomenal singing/dancing, and heartfelt emotions illustrated through classic Adele songs into one perfect piece. Will 100% see this show again before it leaves this year, it was truly a unique experience!
