Margot Mansfield brilliantly portrays her personal experience of psychosis. We laugh, cry and hold our breath as she takes us through stunning circus acts, engaging monologues, and high-energy dance routines. Even Jesus makes an appearance. Mansfield’s performance is cleverly interwoven with home videos, audio interviews and visual displays, creating a powerful, coherent narrative that is insightful, heart wrenching and often just pure fun.

A compelling and confronting performance by a very charismatic Margot. Her emotion palpable as the audience is taken on a ‘pin ball machine’ ride to witness psychosis from the inside. Softened by her infectious humour; honesty and family love shines through. A remarkable production. Cheers and a standing ovation all round.

This is a must see show! Margot takes you on a deeply personal, heartfelt journey into BLIPS (which I didn't know about before) and provides a beautifully choreographed insight into the impacts, on herself and her family. The power of art to say the unthinkable is evident, with finely controlled circus acts juxtaposed against frenetic, outrageously funny antics. A wild and brilliantly executed ride! Brilliant, raw and real. Without pause we are invited into Margo's world as a 19 year old experiencing episodes of phychosis from sleep deprivation. Stunning in its execution, there were times when I cried and when I laughed. Throughout I was in awe as Margo weaves her story by way of vocalisation, acro, hula and heartfelt song and gentle humour. This performance is truly impactful and goes a long way to create a true opening for up deep and genuine conversation.

The director and performer worked together to weave past and present personal narratives, film footage, family reflections with compelling acrobatics. The delivery was raw, honest and evocative. A highly talented performer to watch out for.
