A master of storytelling 👏🏻👏🏻 Not to be missed!!

This play is commentary on English society but the core concepts are easily understood by an Australian audience. There’s a reason why this show won an award to bring it to Adelaide from Edinburgh, it’s good, that’s why!

Not just a concert, but a joyful lesson in Bob Marley, reggae, Jamaica, and music theory. Duane Forrest’s warmth and passion radiate from the stage, and by the end the room seemed to exhale. A Fringe show that teaches, uplifts, and soothes.

Great band. Great songs. Didn’t want it to end.

I say to my students that you should never aim to create a work that’s about joy and misery and sheer confusion of being alive, because that is too broad a topic to explore with any meaning. However, in The Wild Unfeeling World, Casey Jay Andrew’s found the white whale of storytelling, and made a work that does exactly that. I cried through over 50% of it. It is breathtaking, moving, and simply beautiful.
