A perfectly coordinated ensemble of performers who occupied every angle of the stage while performing circus stunts that are hard to perform at the best of times, let alone in sync with others. The costumes contrasted on the stage and alluded to the dark reflections we cast on ourselves in a visceral way. The live music was a great anchor between the acts and the audience that continues to stoke my interest to see this group again.

Excellent rendition of Freddie coupled with a clever show format. Well worth a look.

I really liked this show for the facts and insight into history more than i thought i would. And ive be retelling the stories over and over. However i would suggest this should not be categorised as comedy but then not sure where to place this under - its a ted talk - brilliant all the same.

A high energy journey through several eras of local queer culture that culminate in a performance that is clever and contains one of the best uses of parody for labels I've seen. Enjoyable for locals and anyone who frequent(s/ed) local queer venues.

A great show for the targeted age group. There was singing, magic and storytelling with movement/fun breaks little people need. Well done. Recommend for preschoolers.

Wherever or whenever this show comes up, I can't recommend it strongly enough. James Barr brings experiences that are all too common and often unheard to the stage in a masterpiece of brave narrative and carefully timed humour I may completely appreciate for a while to come. Domestic violence is is a hard topic but the catharsis for survivors taking power over and in their own narrative is a true inspiration

Gender Drugs & Rock 'N' Roll is a brilliant, humorous slice of life in to Courtney's experiences and the most I've laughed continuously in any one show this year. A giant in the community with a wit to match and enjoyable to an audience whether or not they share lived experience

A perfect blend of seduction, spectacle, and skill. This show is absolutely irresistible!
