Venue Registration Now Open for Adelaide Fringe 2025
Wed, Jul 24 2024
Venue registrations for the 2025 Adelaide Fringe are officially open! As the biggest arts festival in the Southern Hemisphere, Adelaide Fringe invites venues to be a part of this extraordinary event that showcases 8,000+ artists across more than 500 locations throughout South Australia.
Adelaide Fringe offers an unparalleled platform for venues to gain exposure, attract new and diverse audiences, and become an integral part of a globally recognised festival. With free registration, it's an incredible opportunity for venues of all shapes and sizes to join the Fringe community.
CEO and Director of Adelaide Fringe Heather Croall said, “Fringe attracts locals and tourists alike and they all contribute to enhanced business conditions across South Australia. By registering your venue, you not only become part of this incredible arts festival, but also gain access to a massive visitor base eager to experience what you have to offer. It’s a unique opportunity to showcase your venue to a diverse and enthusiastic audience from Adelaide, interstate and beyond.”
Venues can enhance their entertainment programs by hosting a variety of shows, from theatre and music, to workshops and community events, and food and drink experiences. The open access nature of the Fringe means that participation is flexible—whether your venue is big or small, temporary or permanent, Fringe magic can happen anywhere. From pubs, libraries and wineries, to laundromats, double-decker buses and community centres, every space across South Australia has the potential to become a part of the festival.
To indicate your interest in becoming a Fringe venue, simply register online through the Artist & Venue Registration platform (AVR) on the Adelaide Fringe website and follow the prompts. Through this platform, venues can connect with artists seeking a venue for their show, or register their own show. Once both the venue and show are registered and linked on AVR, you’ll be an official 2025 Adelaide Fringe Venue.
Recognising the financial pressures venues face amidst the cost of living crisis, Adelaide Fringe offers grants to support operational costs, improve accessibility, and encourage regional touring. Fringe Fund applications open on 1 August 2024. These grants are possible thanks to the generous support of the Government of South Australia, Arts Unlimited and the Adelaide Fringe Donor Circle.
Adelaide Fringe encourages anyone interested in participating to jump online and register. The Artist and Venue Team is available to assist with any inquiries and provide further information.
Don’t miss out on the chance to be a part of this cultural phenomenon. Register your venue for Adelaide Fringe 2025 and be a part of creating unforgettable experiences for artists and audiences alike.
