The Hall of Fame recognition follows three consecutive wins in the Excellence in Accessible Tourism category, supported by the Office for Autism, and acknowledges Adelaide Fringe’s sustained, whole-of-festival approach to inclusion across programming, audience services and venue support.
Adelaide Fringe also claimed Gold in Major Festivals and Events, a category supported by Festival City ADL, recognising the festival’s scale, creative ambition and strong impact on visitation and the visitor economy across metropolitan Adelaide and the regions.
Adelaide Fringe CEO and Director Heather Croall said, “We are absolutely thrilled. The Hall of Fame for Accessible Tourism is a tribute to thousands of artists, staff, venues and partners who work year after year to make Adelaide Fringe welcoming for everyone. Winning Major Festivals and Events on the same night is the icing on the cake and speaks to the creativity of our artists and the way audiences embrace the Fringe across South Australia.”
The South Australian Tourism Awards are delivered by the Tourism Industry Council South Australia (TiCSA) in partnership with the South Australian Tourism Commission, with category judging by industry peers against national criteria. State winners progress to the Australian Tourism Awards, and select categories are supported by partners including Festival City ADL and the Office for Autism.
