Adelaide Fringe Guide Hits The Streets This Week
Tue, Jan 14 2025
South Australia is about to get a whole lot brighter as the official Adelaide Fringe Guide for 2025 hits the streets from this week. Grab a guide at your local cafe, pub, library or community centre. Guides will be available at all Foodland stores and BankSA branches from Friday 17 January, and for those further afield, the digital version is ready to download on our website, with copies also available to order online and be delivered to your door.
Packed with more than 1,300 shows, it’s your ultimate companion to navigating the biggest arts festival in the Southern Hemisphere. From comedy and cabaret to immersive experiences and regional adventures, this year’s program is bursting with inspiration and surprises.
On the cover is the bold and dynamic 2025 poster design ‘Are We Nearly There Yet’ by UK artist, John Pedder. This marks the first time a woodblock print has been selected as the festival's poster, and the bright use of colour will certainly make it easy to spot in your local Foodland store, Bank SA branch, bar or cafe.
With shows spanning suburbs, city hotspots and the regions, the 2025 program invites audiences to explore every corner of South Australia, with the Official Fringe Guide offering a roadmap to finding shows in your favourite genre near you or wherever you’re headed.
Adelaide Fringe Director and CEO Heather Croall AM shared her excitement saying, "When the Fringe Guide hits the streets, you know it’s go time and Fringe is just around the corner! It’s so much fun seeing people diving into it over a coffee, circling their must-sees, and firing up those group chats to lock in their crew for a night at Fringe. Grab a copy, find your faves and jump online to book early.”
For the first time ever, Adelaide Fringe is launching Sneak Peek Week, with more than 160 shows kicking off from 14 February. This is your chance to get a first look at some of the incredible performances ahead of the festival's official opening!
The Fringe Guide is your key to an event that transforms South Australia into a destination for culture seekers from across the world. With Adelaide Fringe running from 21 February to 23 March, now is the time to grab your guide, plan your season, and ready yourself for the biggest arts festival in the Southern Hemisphere.
