Natyam Repertory Music Troupe
Natyam Repertory Music troupe a folk musical brand. Nayam Repertory Music started operation on 30 April 2010. As a band music group for bangali folk songs. Natyam Repertory Music troupe sings about the life of soil-man, boul song, Jari, Sari, Bhawaiya, Bhatiali, Murshidi, Gomvhira, Kabigan, Festival and Parvan though music. We sing using folk music instruments Ektara, Dotara, Dhol and flute. Natyam Repertory Music troupe has performed songs in various festivals among which the notable Programs are Baishakhi TV program rhythm of life, MyTV, DeshTV,. NTV, Maasranga,TV, BijoyTV, BaishakhiTV Range Dhange song program, Folk songs are constantly performed in the traditional folk festivals of Bangladesh such as Pahela Baishakh, Barsha Boron, Nobanno Festival, paush Parban Baran, Baaul Utsab etc.

Shishir Rahaman, born on October 1, 1978, in Munshiganj, began his artistic journey at age 4 in a school performance. By 10, he became a folk singer, later becoming an enlisted artist for Bangladesh Television and Radio. A member of the Music Academy Munshiganj, he plays various instruments like Dotara, Banjo, Dhool, Bamboo Flute, and Violin. He studied at Haraganga College and completed a 6-year diploma in classical music at Munshiganj Shangeet Academy. Shishir has performed in Dhaka, Kolkata, and China. He founded the folk music team “Sahoj Manush” and is a member of various theater groups. A music teacher, he has earned numerous awards for his contributions to Bangla folk music.
