A seated Indian woman with black, curly hair wrapped in strips of cloth with writing on it. Her hands stretched out with the cloth strips hanging down. She's reading the writing on the cloth with an expression of reflecting.
An Indian woman dressed in an orange saree facing to her right in a side profile. A ring light visible on the left of the image lighting her face.
Panels of cloth with purple light reflecting off it. A woman entangled in the cloth looks like she's struggling with it.

Why English? - Layers beneath the language!

A woman finds it hard to find work as an actor, since she can’t speak the languages of her own land - India. The infamous colonial hangover creating chaos worldwide! She feels a strong sense of disconnect - a stranger in her own home!

Witness a journey of revelations using beautiful scenography and physical action, in addition to her endearing personality. Inspired by personal experiences and interactions, Vibhinna invites the audience to experience the nuances of linguistic diversity and its role in our interconnected world. A light hearted show with a powerful undertone.
