This Is My Drag Wedding!
When you’re unlucky in love, all you can do is laugh (at her)… Kane Enable is dead set on finding her perfect match, could it be you?
After a successful premiere of her very first Fringe show in 2024, ‘This Is My Drag Show’ which told Kane's experience growing up queer, and becoming a drag queen, the story is ready to thicken and this time - she's a bride!
Get ready to catch this bouquet, drag icon Kane Enable is back, and more delusional than ever, with a brand new one woman show - ‘This Is My Drag Wedding!’. Explore Kane’s personal love life (or lack thereof), and her unhealthy obsession with weddings in movies and pop culture. From 'Muriels Wedding' to Princess Diana's 8 meter train - through comedy and drag, Kane is set to make you laugh, and fall in love all over again!
Presented by: Kane Enable
Kane Enable is an Adelaide/ Kaurna Land based drag artist, and one of the resident performers at local queer owned and operated venue - Marys Poppin’. They have been working within the venue since its opening in 2016.
Hailed as “The Queen Bee of Adelaide” Kane is motivated by putting Adelaide’s drag scene on the map, showing the talent South Australia has to offer. In the years that have passed, Kane’s work as a drag artist has taken them outside of Adelaide's local venues, to performing on stages all over the country as part of numerous ITD Events with some of the biggest names in drag including: Trixie Mattel, Jinkx Monsoon, Monét X Change & Sasha Colby. Kane is set to tour even more in 2024, and appeared in the 2024 Adelaide Fringe Festival, debuting her very own one woman show.
