Featuring songs written by Australia’s iconic songwriter, musician and performer Peter Allen, Annaliesa Rose sings the Peter Allen Songbook, giving his repertoire new life with her unique and versatile vocals alongside multi-talented Musical Director Daryl Wallis on keyboard and backing vocals. This show presents a collection of Peter Allen’s finest songs, some we know and love, and some that equally deserve to be heard. This show uniquely portrays Peter Allen’s music with a mix of jazz, pop, R‘n’B, ballads and cabaret within a carefully selected showcase of songs.

Annaliesa Rose BMus (jazz) (Australian National University, Canberra), Grad Dip Ed (music) (University of New England, Armidale), MAM (Australian Institute of Music, Sydney) is a versatile singer, musician and composer who has been singing and involved in the arts her whole life. Performing in clubs since 1999, Annaliesa has performed at many different venues. Recently Annaliesa completed her first tour overseas which comprised of gigs in the Czech Republic and a full run of shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (receiving a 4 star review for this show) as well as performing at 2 other jazz gigs at the Edinburgh Jazz & Jive Club with local swing bands. Back in Australia she performs regularly with her jazz gigs and other events. She also was in the Sydney 2000 Olympic Marching Band.
