The Mouth Inside The Mouth
Scary. Sexy. Spellbinding.
‘The Mouth Inside The Mouth’ uses uncanny puppetry to ask the question: what gruesome acts would you do for love? A visual and visceral performance which cracks open the inhuman side of human relationships.
This haunting piece is live scored with original folk-punk music written and performed by musician Tommy Says.
Hot Heads is founded on two principals: our work is visual and visceral, and the audience are involved in the creation of performance. With puppets made of bones and eggs, and a collective sharing of broth and song, The Mouth Inside The Mouth is no exception.
We are an entirely queer, international and neurodiverse team. We believe that our work flourishes because of these traits, not in spite of them.

Hot Heads are a newly formed group, by Keir Aitken and Lily Kuenzler. Our work uses physical theatre and puppetry. Between us, we have shown theatre across three continents, in tens of different theatres, festivals and unconventional theatre spaces. Our work explores the proactive role of the audience in performance. We use mess and bodies to tell stories. Blending these we crate a unique style of performance that is both interactive and physical.
We are international, queer and neurodiverse, believing that our work flourishes because of these traits, not in spite of them. In particular, our neurodiversity is at the core of the unique and off the wall ideas that are our breath and lifeblood.
