The BandShe
Feminist, theatrical, peri-menopausal, ready to rage… and then have a little lie down. ‘The BandShe’ are a post-punk, pop, rock phenomenon arising from a synergy of swinging hormones, political alliance and pointed humor.
Unashamedly political and not afraid to take the piss, they will make you giggle with memories from the schoolyard and then sock a punch right in your complacency- ouch!
Featuring Willow Conway (Burlesque Queen/ Butoh provocateur) up front, Jo Zealand (music, theatre, comedy legend) on guitar and vocals and Bindi Blacher (singer-songwriter extraordinaire) on drums and vocals. They are joined by Kit Withers (keys/ vocals) and Dylan Woolcock (bass).
