Pip has years of experience telling people what would make them orgasm, and they take it very seriously.
This is a hilarious, educational, steamy night for everyone: the ignorant, the bold, the nervous, the highly experienced, and those who just want a good laugh and a blush. Every gender or lack of, and every age (over 18, that is)!
You will be told all: stories of the horrors of having to convince people to use lube, advice on how to buy a toy you might actually like, the dark secrets of the sex toy industry, and just how little common sense some people have. Questions will be answered, curiosities will be satisfied and you will get a good time— don’t get too excited, we just mean the show.

Pip O’Shea has been working with Darwin group Big Dog Salad since their Darwin Fringe Show, ‘Big Dog Salad LIVE’ (2021), which was reprised in Adelaide Fringe (2023). They’ve participated in multiple shows and projects each and every year, flexing their skills in acting for stage and camera, costume design and creation, musical theatre, lighting design and tech, and directing.
Inspired by their many years working at an adult store and developing a passion for safe and sane sex toy shopping, ‘Sex Toy Story’ (2024) was their first solo show and won the Best Spoken Word and Ideas Award at the 2024 Darwin Fringe Festival.
