Kangaroo Island punches way above its weight with its ever-growing culture of local and live music.

HOMEGROWN delivers an enticing blend of your favourite songs – plus outstanding originals created by locals from all walks of life.
From farmers and fishermen to students, retirees and retailers - aged from eight to almost 80 - we have unearthed a line-up of acts that will leave you begging for more.
With something for everyone – from blues and folk to country and contemporary - this is a Fringe event you won’t want to miss!

EAST TEXAS MUSIC began as a rockabilly band and grew into a full-time business!
EAST TEXAS MUSIC now works with the KI community on a full-time basis since March 2019. Our vision is to grow the local Live Music scene from the inside out.
We are Kangaroo Island's only Live Music Event Production business, supporting local and touring artists and events. Supply and management of PA, staging and lighting, as well as back-line equipment, for almost any event.
We actively support the community driven development of local creatives, through the production of local club and Open Mic events, along with song-writing workshops and performance tuition.
EAST TEXAS MUSIC is based in Kingscote at STUDIO 203, with Kangaroo Island's only purpose-built, fully engineered live music space.
