Kate Smurthwaite is an award-winning London-based comedian...with a degree in Environmental Science. During the pandemic she went back to her roots and taught maths and science online to young people. Now she is combining her comedy and teaching skills to share her fascination with evolution in an exciting new show.
Kate has made over 2000 TV and radio appearances including ABC News and the BBC. She has written for Have I Got News For You? and the BAFTA-winning The Revolution Will Be Televised. Her columns have been published in The Mirror, The Guardian, The Independent, The Telegraph, Cosmopolitan, Stylist, New Statesman and New Internationalist.
