Creative Tarot Card-Making with Karl Raams
Decorate some pre-made tarot cards or work on designing your own. Karl (they/them) will share their interest in Tarot history and how they approach designing their own tarot and fantasy oracle cards. While you engage with the cards, we'll discuss the importance of symbolism and motifs and how archetypes can be used in meaningful picture-making.
This workshop is great for beginners or experienced Artists and/or Tarot enthusiasts. Share your passion while exploring Tarot from an artistic lens.
Participants will receive:
- 6 pre-designed fantasy-focused tarot cards
- 6 blank tarot cards on 300gsm watercolour paper
- All art supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring your favourites
- A fun experience and unique activity.
Presented by: Karl Raams (they/them)
Karl is a non-binary Artist and Art Therapist who runs their studio and private practice, Phoenix Arts & Mind. They grew up in the regional town of Monash South Australia. Their art explores both fantastical elements as well as their love for regional Australia.
