Nan, Me & Barbara Pravi
26 February 2025 - Bert R.Hannah Maxwell gives an amazing performance, in a striking piece of theatre that takes you on an emotional rollercoaster. It starts kind of light and fluffy, but builds to a breathtaking conclusion in an acting tour de force. It's funny, witty, dramatic and engrossing. Highly recommended. -

Macbeth
26 February 2025 - Stephen S.Five star adaptation of the Scottish play with music, in the Botanic Gardens, over ninety glorious minutes. The performances are stellar, the adaptation of one of Shakespeare’s most difficult plays and most treacherous roles is something everyone can enjoy. This is a company on the top of its game. If you miss this, you really have missed out! -
Help! I Think I'm a Nationalist
26 February 2025 - Stephen S.Deeply thoughtful piece exploring the issues that nationalism, in this case Cornish nationalism, raises. The loss of identity, the alienation of belonging that leads to both progressive and reactionary (when things go too far) responses are explored through a nationalist prism. With bagpipes, a kilt and a free cream tea (do you put jam or cream on first?) Seamus strongly performs the contradictory dilemmas, confronting, challenging and entertaining the audience. Go see it! -

F@ckboi George's Guide to Feminism
26 February 2025 - Caitlin M.I haven’t laughed this hard for a show in ages. Tears. Actual tears. A sexy, courteous, hilarious show with a soft intro into the ridiculousness of gender. F@ckboi George is one of SA’s best drag kings and there’s a reason for it. -
