AKLOWA FOLKORE DRUM BAND
Experience the beating heart of Africa with the joy and pure energy of these dancing, singing Drummers, all the way from Ghana!
With 150 drums on site, every ticket holder will be able to play their own drum, and move their bodies to the music, under the expert guidance of the dynamic Aklowa drummers and dancers. Witness the magic of the ‘Talking Drum’- an ancient form of communication between villages…and feel the groove as the vibrant beats of the Aklowa band get your feet and body moving, no matter how much you try to resist!
Please note: This event has had a venue change from 'Wakanda Multicultural Bar' to 'Pop Up Park' in Mount Barker since the Adelaide Fringe Guide was printed. As a result, only the sessions on the 8th and 9th of March will go ahead.
