Bengali Folk Dance
Dance Circle is a Bengali folk dance group specializing in the unique traditions of Bangla dance. Alongside theatre practice, its members have long trained in the tunes, rhythms and movements of Bengal. A unit of Theater Circle Munshiganj, the group began its journey in September 2007 with the mission of presenting authentic Bengali folk dance to audiences at home and abroad.
Dance Circle performs works inspired by rural life, nature, festivals and the spirit of the people. Over time, it has developed its own distinct style and earned recognition both nationally and internationally. The group stands as a symbol of pride in the Bengali language, cultural heritage and a non-communal artistic spirit.
