Why Tapestry?
At 20 years of age a good friend of mine told me to listen to Carole King's Tapestry. What a wise and beautiful gift. For over 25 years Tapestry has been with me through love, marriage, divorce and utter chaos. Those songs are my friends. My heart soars with Natural Woman, breaks with It's Too Late and yearns with Home Again. Each and every song feels like warmth, like....love.
The first song I learnt was Will You Love Me Tomorrow, then slowly I learnt another, then another. After a few years I realised I'd learnt them all!
At this point, those songs had become part of me...what now?
Carole's Tapestry has touched millions of people, the songs are woven into our lives and the songs live on through peoples' stories...why not tell them.

  • Traeger immerses herself in Carole King, giving credence to the husky, simple melodies and the piano power chords we know and love. - Emma Heidenreich, Fest
