WHISPER WALK: Stories Shared AFOOT

Interactive • Site-specific
United States • World Premiere

WHISPER WALK is a piece of moving, living, testimonial art, exploring the power of privately uttered, deeply personal stories.

Memory can be tied to place. Stories from modern-day people, and true–to–life fictional recreations of memories in the same locations across time (from the 1880s to the 22nd century) whisper to you as you walk. You may be a confessional, a confidant, or a stranger on the road to whom the speaker can confide in candidly. Perhaps these testimonials inspire you to recall your own unuttered memories and stories and connect you to the places and people in your own life.

In this new form of theater, you interact with your environment using our new AFOOT console. All you need is your smartphone, a pair of headphones, and yourself in this theatrical solo walking tour.

IMPORTANT:
From the 18th of March The Foyer/Bar at Electric Dreams @ Freemasons Hall will be closed and this venue will serve as a starting point only.
