This venue provides a truly intimate theatre experience. The Theatre features state of the art audio visual equipment and acoustic treatments. With a capacity of up to 3,000 people, the Theatre is fully self-contained with its own loading bay, production offices, dressing rooms and catering facilities; enabling the Adelaide Entertainment Centre to offer extraordinary facilities at reduced hire rates. The Theatre boasts a ‘plug and play’ VDosc sound system, and a rigging system that enables equipment to be rigged from the floor and moved up, down, forward and backwards via remote control over the length of the entire venue. Adding to its incredible flexibility, the Theatre also features motorised retractable tiered seating so that it is ideal for fully reserve seated and GA shows, or a mix of both. The Theatre is suited to contemporary live concerts, theatre productions, musicals, comedy and family entertainment for audiences from 500 to 3,000.
