The Cabinet Room at Treasury 1860

Treasury 1860 is Adelaide's newest premiere bar and restaurant serving up locally sourced dishes in tranquil surrounds, located in the iconic old Treasury building in the heart of the CBD. The building is steeped in history, including being the location where the first gold pound was made, where the Beatles hid whilst being swarmed by Adelaide fans on their tour, and has historic tunnels under the building. The building also houses the Adina apartments, which are rated in the top 3 hotels in Adelaide, with luxury self contained apartments. In the middle of the building is an incredible courtyard with a beautiful water fountain, trees and garden. it is an oasis in the middle of the city showcasing the best that South Australia has to offer.
Treasury 1860 is offering multiple art spaces in their registration. This includes a visual art space in both the restaurant and bar area, a performance space in the bar, the tunnels and in the courtyard for theatre/cabaret/live music

Our venue is attached to the Adina Hotel, however Treasury 1860 is a seperate entity, and is the Bar, Restaurant and courtyard located within the Adina Hotel. We also lease the tunnels space from the Adina hotel during the Fringe. Access to our venue is through the Treasury 1860 front doors at 144 King William St.
