Colour is unmistakably evident when we showcase our community’s vibrancy with the biennial Colour Tumby Festival over the March long weekend, 7-10 March 2025.
The festival showcased the community’s arts and cultural appreciation through markets, a car show, Adelaide Fringe events, a 5km fun run, sailing regatta, art and craft workshops, diverse music entertainment, sand sculpting, outdoor movies, fireworks, an aerobatics display, kids’ corner, and so much more.
The cornerstone of our Festival is the painting of new murals, adding to Tumby Bay’s internationally renowned street art trail. Many thousands of people attend the festival, and the silo and street art continue to bring tourists into the Tumby Bay providing sustainable economic benefits far beyond the festival itself.
As a Council we are proud once again to facilitate the collaboration between local government, community, volunteers, local business, corporate sponsors and larger state-wide event programs.
