The Chapel Theatre is a small community theatre owned by The Strathalbyn Players Inc, a local amateur drama group.
It is a heritage listed deconsecrated church.
There is a foyer with wheelchair accessible entry giving onto a small auditorium that seats between 80 to 95 patrons depending on the seating layout. The seating can be changed to cabaret seating or tiered row seating. The stage is equipped with pivoting flats and overhead lighting bars. The stage has two exits into the green room
There is a functioning sound and lighting box and reverse cycle airconditioning
There is a large green room and adjoining kitchen, both somewhat shabby but in good working order
The space is used for amateur productions and the local youth theatre drama classes.
The toilets include 1 wheelchair accessible and 2 unisex cubicles. There is some carparking in venue grounds but street parking is ample.
