The market is the heart and soul and centre of any culture and OKipos is aiming to be the multicultural heart of Whyalla. We are fortunate to live in such a multicultural and diverse city, and we would love to celebrate each and every culture that makes up this great community.
Established in 2017, OKipos is a local fruit and vegetable market, coffee house and bar operating Fri-Sun. Our philosophy is zero waste and sustainability. We sell only in season F&V and local and SA produce where available- including local and regional SA beers wines and spirits. A lot of the produce is grown on site and in various home gardens throughout Whyalla. Our customers are encouraged to bring in excess F&V and swap out for other produce, or simply grab a coffee.
OKipos is set among fruit trees, gardens and a shadehouse in our own mini market garden in the centre of Whyalla. Events are staged outdoors in the open air and nature.
The space is part of: OKipos Greenmarket and Cafe
