The old stone school building established in 1898, is a historic landmark in Cromer - an area marked out on early maps sent back to England for South Australian settlement. The area once featured an Inn and Post office, now converted into houses, with remnants of cottages scattered throughout. The School was established at the start of 1899 and has served various purposes over the years, including hosting religious ceremonies, local dance nights, meetings, and more recently serving as tennis clubrooms.
Nestled amongst bushland it's regional location lends itself to a number of interesting events. The building itself is only 11m by 5m, however the 3 bitumen tennis courts provide ample space where we have held concerts and gatherings previously.
