Built in the 1920s, the Masonic Lodge is five storeys of ornate, stone architecture. Gluttony will be taking over the foyer space, as well as the Great Hall and the two downstairs rooms, which we are calling the Phoenix and Owl Rooms. Specifically designed for shows that want to be part of a well-established and popular hub, but require a venue without the challenges provided by an outdoor space, such as sound bleed. These venues are perfect for comedy, theatre, music, storytelling and spoken word, and other artforms that need to have control over the sound around them.
