fab (previously George Street Studios) is a new artist studio and workshop in Kent Town.
With over 23 years of experience, fab specialises in metal fabrication facilities and services. We are a pivotal studio for South Australia’s art and design communities, overseeing the design, engineering, and fabrication for a range of creatives, from emerging artists to prominent institutions.
In partnership with Adelaide Fringe and Helpmann Academy, our studio offers 12-month studio residencies and mentoring to artists. As part of Fringe 2024, we are thrilled to showcase our most recent Fringe studio residents Alice Hu and Brianna Speight, in a group exhibition that invites the studio at large to contribute artwork to the theme of 'Soft fascinations'.
