Treasury 1860 is a stunning restaurant, bar and courtyard located in the heart of the Adelaide CBD in the iconic Treasury building. The building is steeped in history, including being the location where the first gold pound was made, where the Beatles hid whilst being swarmed by Adelaide fans, & has historic tunnels underneath. The building also houses the Adina apartments. The building surrounds an incredible courtyard with a beautiful water fountain, trees & garden.
Treasury 1860 can offer multiple art spaces for both performance art and visual art, given its separate dining area, separeate bar and its beautiful, large courtyard area, which can act as an ampitheatre space for the fringe and is perfect for theatre/cabaret/live music.
Please note, due to being attached to the hotel, we have noise restrictions that must be adhered to- a maximum of 80dBa noise levels in the courtyard.
Over the years we have hosted a number of award winning performances in Theatre, cabaret & visual art.
