Two square images. The first, a highly stylised and pixelated image of a flying bird. The second, a woman in a white dress underwater, large bubbles float up from her mouth.
Two square images. The first is a woman's face in dramatic green lighting. The second, an illustrated drab and decrepit city-space, a flying car floats down the street.
Two square images. The first, someone playing piano on a stage in front of red curtain lit by a spotlight. The second, a man listening to music with headphones in colourful yellow and purple lighting.

UNDEREXPOSED

Film and Digital
South Australia

What's your story? How would you tell it?

Counterfeit Collective presents UNDEREXPOSED for its 4th year at Fringe.

UNDEREXPOSED highlights emerging and experimental filmmakers, putting a diverse range of unique stories from voices and narratives often overlooked in mainstream cinema under the spotlight.

We are so excited to offer some new events and artistic collaborations this year.

We are teaming up with Moviejuice and bringing you a special event on March 1st where we bring local artists together through music and film at Adelaide's oldest theatre, The Queens.

Keep an eye out for our Window Film Festival which will be located at The Queens from February 16th and throughout the fringe (see our instagram for times and details).

We encourage discussion after each session about all the topics that arise in these short films. Let's debate over a drink and have a boogie to a local band.

Be there or be square.

Presented by: Counterfeit Collective

Counterfeit Collective is a team of makers in Tandanya on unceded Kaurna country (Adelaide, South Australia).

We are artists, writers, producers, directors, focused on film and media. We aim to promote new projects and create opportunities for local makers, especially those who are up-and-coming and are non-straight-white-guys.

Our current projects are the ongoing UNDEREXPOSED Film Festival, coming into its forth edition, and Rules to Being a F*ckgurl a comedy webseries now in post-production.

If you are a creative from one of the films showing in UNDEREXPOSED don't forget to book a ticket to the session in which your film is playing (you will be notified via email) and for our closing night which will be our awards event.
