Transformed - Sameness within change

‘Transformed: Sameness within change’ is an exhibition that reflects on how we, as a community or society, respond to events that transform our sense of reality and personal identity. The event seeks to highlight the role of creativity in self-definition, whilst reflecting on individual, social and cultural identity. We’ve invited the community to consider a time and place in which their sense of reality required an adjustment due to a transformative moment in their lives, which triggered changes in points of view and preconceived ideas. From cultural and political events, to local and personal situations, these creatives have captured and portrayed their personal transformative experience through their creative work.
