The Palmer Sculpture Biennial

The Biennial presents works by sculptors from around Australia and overseas. The sculptors and visitors engage with a stage whose set includes the unique Australian blue sky, wonderful cloudscapes, never ending horizons and a returning landscape, which has now been under revegetation for twenty two years; a huge contrast to the white walls of a contemporary gallery.

The sculptors have a free hand both conceptually and visually in their response to the environment – they can choose how their works interact with the natural setting.

The highlight of the event is strolling across the 400 acres, slowly viewing the sculptures, stopping to enjoy conversation, picnic lunches and the amazing landscape.

Running March 16th to April 14th. Open weekends from 11 - 5.30 & Wednesday afternoons from 2 - 5.30.

Bookings not-essential.
