Struan All Over the World

Comedy • Stand Up
SA Premiere
The Scottish "Globetrotting Comedian" (Broadway Baby) returns to Adelaide after previously living in the country on a working holiday visa for a year and a week. Road tripping around Australia and New Zealand headlining gigs whilst meandering through, he then made his way back home via South East Asia performing stand-up in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong. Struan regales you with stories about how Scottish privilege was his best travel ally, being attacked by an iced-up junkie, doing jokes about Islam in a Muslim majority country and how he understood religion by visiting Buddhist Hell.

"Struan Logan doesn't like to stoop to childish, sugar-filled bribery." - The List.
"Likes to push boundaries." - Glasgow Live.
"Hilarious" - Aussie Theatre.
"Well impressed" One4Review.co.uk.

Presented by: Struan Logan

Struan has been performing stand-up in Scotland since 2012 and had already done shows at Edinburgh Fringe, Brighton Fringe, Funny Things Festival Wolverhampton and Glasgow International Comedy Festival before packing his bags from the UK in 2015 for an Australian visa, performing at Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne Fringe and International Comedy Festival. Heading back home via South East Asia, he performed at comedy clubs in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Thailand. At last year’s Edinburgh Fringe his storytelling show Mingalabar was recommended by The List as one of the best things to see on your lunch hour. Along with being a comedian, Struan is also a columnist for Melbourne's craft beer magazine Froth, writing fun articles about his other passion - beer.
