You’ve heard Soness as Hello Kitty’s English voice (1999–2024), in Nintendo’s ARMS, Bomberman, Time Crisis 5, NHK World and Disney. She twice ruptured her Achilles in a sumo match (worth it), screamed “Take this!” 237 times in a booth, and accidentally trained AI to do her job...but she still does it better. A Tokyo-based comedian and storyteller for nearly 30 years, she created Anime-Zing! Game Show, a sold-out hit at Edinburgh Fringe 2025. Offstage, she interprets at Takasago Sumo Stable. As an AuDHD voice artist, she creates inclusive spaces. A 5-time TED speaker, she champions human creativity over AI mimicry of anime and art.
