Black and white hand drawing of a face in profile (side view) with bald or shaved scalp - perhaps depicting Sinéad O'Connor. Eyes are closed. Mouth is open, mid song or cry. Eyebrows are dark and furrowed, hinting an expression of anguish.
Pencil sketch of Sinéad O'Connor, side profile - shaved head, eyes closed, mouth open assumedly singing, emotion stricken face. Sketch has been cut out. The back of her head appears to sit snuggly in alignment with the curve of a guitar. The guitar is a bnw hand drawn sketch on ripped out piece of art paper.

Sketch has been cut out and sits amidst a green wash background with remnants of a white laser circle surrounding her, a bit like a halo.

Shuhada

In 1992, Shuhada (Sinéad O’Connor) took her mother’s portrait of the Pope to Saturday Night Live - and ripped it to pieces - shattering her pop-star career in one swift sweep, whilst igniting her legacy as a fearless social activist.

At age 19, MT (Marie Thérèse) set off across Ireland on her green steed, cycling through the rocky landscapes of abandoned faith, ancestral hunger, and intergenerational rage - half expecting to bump into Sinéad amongst her many long-lost cousins.

In this 60-minute musical deep dive, MT sings her way home — unearthing lost languages, reminiscing upon her travels, revisiting Sinéad’s genre-defying journey - from Irish trad, to pop, to punk, to rap, to reggae ... to imagine - what might Shuhada Sadaqat have sung next?
